MEDICAL
John Wood: Alicia shared recently that “John’s doctor was almost giddy with how well he is doing and how good he looks. God is good!” John will continue traveling to New York every few weeks as he progresses through his pancreatic cancer treatments.
Please continue praying for John’s recovery of strength, relief from pain and treatment side effects, and for peace, comfort, and perseverance—not just for John, but for Alicia and the entire family.
Beatrice Sage: Bea, Patrick Boyle’s 58-year-old sister in New York, recently completed radiation and chemotherapy for stage-four throat cancer, diagnosed in September. Bea is recovering well following her recent treatments, and she is so thankful for all the prayers. Please pray for full remission and full restoration of health.
Rosemary Lisby: Rosemary is scheduled to receive a second epidural injection in March to help further calm the inflamed nerves that have caused persistent numbness and pain in her right leg and foot. Please pray for complete healing and restored mobility. She is beginning to venture out and drive to nearby locations. Also remember her husband, Greg, as he continues to care for Rosemary and serve as her periodic driver.
Grace Brown: Grace is undergoing immunotherapy for lung cancer through daily medication and periodic infusions. Her husband, Tom, reports good news from Grace’s most recent scans: the inflammation in Grace’s lung has gone down and she is able to continue her immunotherapy. In addition, all the cancer locations are showing less activity and have shrunk! Grace and Tom are so thankful for all your prayers. Please continue praying for healing, manageable treatment side effects, and for peace and strength for Grace and her family.
Susan Boling: Susan continues to do very well following her hip replacement surgery. After dealing with a blood infection for several months, Susan’s recent bloodwork results were normal, and she is finally off of antibiotics! She has also recently begun physical therapy to further restore her strength and mobility. Please continue praying for complete healing.
Virginia Ann Edwards (Bo Edwards’ mother): Sister Edwards, age 91, is continuing her recovery and rehab following a partial hip replacement. Because of her recent health challenges and increasing frailty, the family is gently encouraging her to consider moving to an assisted living facility near her daughter Clair in Myrtle Beach.
Please pray for wisdom and clarity as decisions are made about her long‑term care, for her full healing and recovery, and for strength and blessing for all who are caring for her during this time.
Calli (Bo Edwards’ sister): Please continue to pray for restored mental health, renewed motivation, and peace within her home, especially as she and her husband care for their special needs son. Calli seems to be doing better after in-hospital treatments she underwent a few months ago.

OUR SICK AND SAINTS AT HOME
Please remember in your prayers the following GC members who have ongoing health issues and are generally unable to attend worship services:
Bert and Joyce Blackwell: : Pray for Bert’s declining health and for Joyce as his caregiver. Joyce says that they continue to hang in there. We pray for strength for Joyce and that she can hold up physically as caregiver. Knee pain continues to be an ongoing struggle for her.
Melissa Boyle is helping to coordinate meals; you may sign up to take a meal at mealtrain.com/trains/yrzl3k. Feel free to send Joyce a text of encouragement (no calls, please); she so appreciates it.
Esther Johnson: Esther continues to face the challenges of Parkinson’s disease and related health issues. She recently began physical therapy twice a week, and Russ says it is helping—not only with mobility, but also by giving her a chance to get out of the house. Thankfully, her breathing has also shown improvement.
Please pray for renewed strength and continued progress for Esther, and for Russ as he faithfully cares for her.
David and Carolyn Wheeler: David said recently, “We are walking by faith. We are doing as good as we can, keeping our doctor’s appointments, and looking at more MRI tests. Thanks to everyone who is praying for us!”
David is battling cancer in both kidneys as well as prostate cancer. Pain is being kept under control very well with minimal pain meds. David credits Carolyn for keeping him alive—she is a wonderful caregiver. They continue to maintain wonderful, inspiring positive attitudes. David and Carolyn welcome cards or calls.
