Asher (nephew of Rachael Turner): Six-year-old Asher has been hospitalized with bacterial meningitis and is recovering from the recent brain surgery that removed 70% of the infection. He cannot be released from the hospital until antibiotics clear up the remaining infection and the daily, periodic fevers and headaches have abated. Will have an MRI on Monday. Surgeons could only remove 70% of the infection and are treating him with antibiotics. He is scheduled for an MRI in a few weeks to see if antibiotics are working. In the meantime, physical therapy.
