Our summer focus of Praise the Lord! will carry into our Youth Night conversations. We had such a wonderful experience last summer with Discipleship Groups (or simply "D Groups" for short), that we are using that same approach again this summer. Instead of messages from the stage that lead to discussions in Small Groups, all Youth will have the opportunity to meet with a group of peers each Youth Night during the summer to study the Bible together. These are comprised of 8-12 same-gender and same-phase (either middle school or high school) Youth, and they will remain consistent throughout the entire summer. Anytime anyone new joins us for Youth Night, we will gladly help them to connect to a D Group that will be a great fit for them, so please feel free to invite friends!
 
As we did last year, we've been working with a group of high school-age Youth to be D Group Leaders. We are equipping them to build relationships, facilitate discussions, and to practice servant leadership, so each group will have 2-3 high school Youth serving as leaders, as well as 2-3 adult leaders who are present for guidance and support as needed. All groups will be reading, discussing, and acting in obedience to passages about songs recorded in the Scriptures in response to mighty works that God had done.
 
We encourage families to use this as an opportunity to talk with your young people about what they're learning and ask them about what they've committed to do each week in response to what they're heard. Mainly listen to them, encourage them, and pray for them. Thank you for letting us partner with you to fuel faith in the next generation!
