MEDICAL
Betty Doris: Dealing with a very persistent cold virus that won’t go away. In the midst of her illness, a third-floor bathroom leak caused flooding and significant damage on all three floors of her home. Repairs will be lengthy and extensive. Please pray for healing and strength for Betty, and for patience as she and her family manage the upcoming home repairs.
Bert and Joyce Blackwell: Bert was hospitalized in late January and is now at home under weekly hospice care. Please pray for comfort for Bert, strength and energy for Joyce, as his primary caregiver, and for all those ministering to them.
Bobby McVey and John Wood: for successful cancer treatments. Both are undergoing cancer treatments for specific cancer situations. Lord, we lift our brothers Bobby and John and their sweet families up to you. We pray for complete healing and that you minimize any negative treatment effects such as fatigue or nausea. Give them strength and peace.
David and Carolyn Wheeler: David will have an MRI April 4th to evaluate his kidney cancer; he is also dealing with prostate and skin cancer issues. Please pray for strength and peace as David goes through this journey. We also pray for Carolyn, and give thanks that she has recovered from a painful adverse reaction caused by a newly prescribed drug.
Laura Johnson: We pray for Russ Johnson’s sister in her ongoing battle with bladder cancer (over 9 years now). Her oncologist would like her to undergo another round of treatments. We pray for full health for Laura, and for wise decisions on her treatment process.
Loretta Allen: Tommy Bradford’s sister, was diagnosed with a cardiac tumor. Please pray for her and husband Sid, along with her physicians. May the tumor be benign and fully treatable, causing no obstructions or concerns, so Loretta may return to good health.
Mark Sampley: Rick’s brother is in a Cookeville, TN hospital where he is undergoing tests to find the cause of two fainting spells within the last few days. Please pray for the right diagnosis from his doctors and a return to health.
Sherry McMillan: Had a routine, precautionary MRI this week as a follow-up to an earlier mammogram. Results to come next week. We pray for a “clean” MRI, and for peace and comfort for Sherry and Kirk as results are awaited.
Susan Boling’s mother: Is in declining health and is not a Christian. We pray for the Holy Spirit to open her heart to the message of the cross, and that God will send witnesses, along with Susan, to share that message so she commits to Jesus before it’s too late.
Saints at Home: See the recently published article regarding Bert and Joyce Blackwell, located on foyer tables.
