Day 9 • Colombia Church Plant • John Jairo Valencia

"But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?"

Romans 10:14 NLT

-----

In today's video, John Jairo Valencia shares an encouraging update from the church in El Carmen de Viboral and the impact the Gospel is having in the community. Having served there for two years alongside his family, John reflects on one conversion in particular that has strengthened and encouraged the church.

After suffering a severe accident and spending months in a coma, Julián Reyna faced a long and difficult recovery. During that time, he prayed that God would show him the truth. Last year, John had the opportunity to share the Gospel with him, and Julián was baptized into Christ. One year later, he remains faithful and deeply grateful for the new life he has found in Jesus.

John's testimony is a reminder that God is always at work in the hearts of people around us. As we faithfully sow the seed of the Gospel, God continues to draw people to Himself and transform lives through His grace.
