THANKSGIVING
Brian Mower: Praise to our Heavenly Father that, with the help of GC members, Brian has been able to find a place in a group home in Powder Springs. After a two-year stay in Chattanooga, he should be moving back to Georgia around December first. Brian very excitedly says, “I’m coming home!” Welcome back to Atlanta, Brian! We love you!
Jenny and Daniel Brown: We are thrilled to share that baby Jensen has made it home after 24 days in the NICU! Jenny and Daniel are so thankful for all the prayers and words of encouragement during their NICU journey. Please pray that Jensen continues to catch up on his growth and development, and that Jenny and Daniel will have the strength and wisdom to best take care of his needs.

MEDICAL
Tyler Davidson: Tyler was recently diagnosed with a rare congenital heart condition that went undetected until symptoms appeared over the past couple of months, including a racing heart and arrhythmia, which caused episodes of weakness and lightheadedness. Doctors have scheduled a heart ablation procedure for December 23rd. Until then, Tyler must avoid physical exertion and stress, as his condition is serious and potentially life-threatening.
Under doctor’s orders, Tyler is currently on light duty at his beloved job with the Cherokee County Fire Department in Dahlonega. His wife, Tori, is asking for prayers from the Grace Chapel family—that Tyler can rest, stay stable, and undergo the surgery as planned. If successful, the procedure should allow him to live a normal, healthy life. Please lift up this sweet family in prayer. Tyler and Tori have three young children, ages six, four, and two. Pray for peace and patience during this waiting period, and for complete recovery so Tyler can return to serving his community at full strength.
Grace Brown: Grace has begun chemo treatments for her recently diagnosed lung cancer, taking daily oral medication and weekly infusions. As our dear sister Grace faces the challenges of treatment and its side effects, please pray for resilience, strength, and peace and that God removes the cancer entirely from her body.
Let us all battle in prayer for Grace’s health just as she is battling. Let us lift this sweet family up to our Heavenly Father as we pray for complete healing and restoration of health.
John Wood: John and Alicia traveled to New York last Monday for a three-month stay,
during which time John will take part in a new 30-person experimental treatment trial for his pancreatic cancer. Please pray for the success of this trial and continue to pray for John’s complete healing. Alicia will be by his side throughout the trial. May God give John strength to withstand any negative side effects of the trial and restore him to full health.
Jane and Doug Gilliard: Both are dealing with ongoing medical situations. Doug is recovering nicely from an extensive surgery to mend his hip and will soon begin water aerobics to help regain strength. Jane is in physical therapy after recent x-rays revealed that her broken right wrist and elbow are healing well. Please continue to pray for full recovery. Doug and Jane look forward to the day they will be back worshiping with us in person.
Susan Boling: Susan recently began outpatient physical therapy at Champion rehab in Cumming to deal with the severe back, hip and knee pain, and will be seeing a pain management doctor. She is hoping to ease some of the pain as she works her way toward having a hip replacement.
Calli (Bo Edwards’ sister): Calli is currently receiving care at a mental health facility in Charlotte, NC. On Thursday she underwent a serious procedure which doctors hope will help change her brain chemistry and ease the intense mental anguish she’s been experiencing, including ongoing struggles with depression and involuntary muscle movements. We pray for healing from her mental health issues, renewed motivation, and peace in her home with her husband and their special needs son.
Bo Edwards: Please pray for Bo and his mother during this time of great family stress. Bo holds a critical role at his software company and is currently working nearly around the clock to meet an important proposal requirement. Heavenly Father, be with Bo as he copes with a demanding job.

OUR SICK AND SAINTS AT HOME
A big “thank you” to so many who are reaching out as the Spirit prompts you to our dear brothers and sisters who are experiencing trials and tribulations, both medically and spiritually. Cards, phone calls, and visits are so appreciated. Please remember in your prayers the following GC members who have ongoing health issues and are generally unable to attend worship services:
Esther and Russ Johnson: Esther continues to face a number of health challenges, including Parkinson’s disease. Esther has not been able to attend church for some time and has recently grown very weak with trouble breathing. She had a breathing and cardio test this past Tuesday and is awaiting results. Russ said that they have been doing okay overall. “We are doing our best to stay positive and hopeful, and thanks so much for thinking of us. Love you, the Johnsons.”
We pray that God will give strength and vitality to both Esther and Russ, and that they will stay positive despite the obstacles they have been facing.
Bert and Joyce Blackwell: Pray for Bert’s declining health and for Joyce as his caregiver. Joyce says that they continue to hang in there. Bert has lost a lot of weight over time and had a fall recently. Melissa Boyle is helping coordinate meals so please contact Melissa if you would like help. Feel free to give Joyce a call of encouragement; she so appreciates it.
David and Carolyn Wheeler: David cannot be around large crowds due to his weak immune system. They continue to be in and out of doctor’s offices on a routine basis but are keeping wonderful, positive attitudes. He and Carolyn are happy to have calls or visits.
