Prayer Requests • 10/20/2024

Larry and Janet Weidman: Involved in a serious car accident in which their vehicle was totaled. Janet may have a shoulder injury; Larry’s condition wasn’t mentioned. We pray for their health and safety, as well as all involved in this accident.
 
Kim Doris: Continues experiencing pain at the bottom part of her sternum. This rare, painful illness flared up in early August. More tests this week and a review of treatment plans for pain relief. Lord, please help Kim find relief, and be with Betty, her mom/caregiver, as well.
 
Bobby McVey: Continues good recovery from triple bypass heart surgery. Hopes for release from his heart doctor in November so he can resume his lung cancer chemo treatments. We pray for Bobby’s healing, and strength for wife Carrie and family.
 
Sherry McMillan:  Continue to pray as Sherry begins radiation treatments as a follow-up to her breast cancer lumpectomy several weeks ago.
 
Mark Sampley: Rick’s brother is hospitalized in Chattanooga with mental and physical health issues.  Please pray for Mark’s recovery, and Rick finding a suitable treatment facility for him as his rehab continues.

Lord, we pray for full restoration of health for all the saints who have had recent surgical procedures. 

Jennifer Reese: Recovering from thyroid surgery.
 
Nan Snyder: Recovering from recent surgery.
 
June Somervell: Had hip surgery on October 7th.
 
Russ Schoper: Recovering from successful knee replacement surgery.
 
Jo Ann Warlick: Continues to recuperate nicely from knee replacement surgery.

Lord, be with all those impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton; families who have experienced a loss of a loved one, friend, neighbor, or property. The ongoing challenges of coping with daily life in simply having food, water, and healthcare. Be with all volunteers, and give all strength and courage in these trying times. We are thankful to know that we can turn to you in confidence as the only true refuge.

Larry & Janet Weidman: Prayers of thanks for their family, Chris and Becka, who live in the Mt. Mitchell, NC area, which was devastated by Helene. Right now Chris and Becka are safe and staying in the Cumming area. Thanks be to God!
