Prayer Requests • 10/13/2024

Lord, be with all those impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton; families who have experienced a loss of a loved one, friend, neighbor, or property. The ongoing challenges of coping with daily life in simply having food, water, and healthcare. Be with all volunteers, and give all strength and courage in these trying times. We are thankful to know that we can turn to you in confidence as the only true refuge.

Larry & Janet Weidman: Prayers of thanks for their family, Chris and Becka, who live in the Mt. Mitchell, NC area, which was devastated by Helene. Right now Chris and Becka are safe and staying in the Cumming area. Thanks be to God!

Jennifer Reese: Recovering from thyroid surgery.  Please pray for complete healing and full recovery for this dear sister.  Lord, be with husband Chris and their entire family.

Kim Doris: Experiencing a lot of abdominal pain due to gastroparesis. Doctors are doing additional testing and treatments. Lord, be with Kim and provide a solution for healing, and be with mom, Betty, as well.

Bobby McVey: Treatment for lung cancer is on hold while Bobby recovers from successful triple bypass heart surgery. We pray for healing and full restoration of health, and strength for wife Carrie and family.

Sherry McMillan: Received a treatment plan this week after a breast cancer lumpectomy several weeks ago. The plan is for radiation only. Please pray for healing and complete recovery.  Sherry is doing very well.

Mark Sampley: Rick’s brother is in need of prayers as Rick explores the best pathway forward medically and for daily living and assistance following the recent loss of their mother. May God bless and the Spirit guide in this journey; prayers for Mark’s physical and mental wellbeing.

Nan Snyder: Recovery from recent surgery is going well.

June Somervell: Doing well after hip surgery on 10/7.

Russ Schoper: Home recovering from successful knee replacement surgery this week. Doing well.

Jo Ann Warlick: Continues to recuperate nicely from knee surgery.
