MEDICAL

Mike Fischer: Mike was injured in a 10-12 foot fall from a rock climbing wall. He's fractured several vertebrae and has experienced some blood clots. Surgery is scheduled for this Tuesday, June 17th, at Northside Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville. Please pray for a successful surgery, full recovery and decreased pain. Also, pray for Pamela as she cares for him. May God's glory be revealed and the Spirit comfort and strengthen the Fischers.

Anna Watson:  Having knee replacement surgery on Monday June 16th.  Please pray for successful surgery, for a smooth rehab and a knee without pain.

Deana Green: Scheduled to donate a kidney on June 16. The recipient is Kevin James. He and his wife were members of Grace Chapel prior to moving back to Tennessee. The transplant will be performed at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Please pray for a successful surgery and that Kevin’s body will accept her kidney and for Deana’s healthy recovery.

Ava Beasley: Marjorie Beasley’s 13-year-old granddaughter, Ava, will have scoliosis surgery on June 20th to correct complications from a previous procedure. Please pray for a successful outcome with her new surgical team at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and for complete healing, strength, and peace for Ava and her family during this time.

John Wood: Has had twelve rounds of chemo over several months for pancreatic cancer. His oncologist reviewed the findings of a new PET scan. Alicia writes, “There are no new lesions. (The cancer has not spread!) The lesions in the liver are almost non-detectable and have significantly reduced activity levels! His pancreas still has an active mass. Therefore, he will continue with chemotherapy at a decreased intensity for the next six rounds. Dr. Kahn stated that John is headed for remission and stated frankly that she was not hopeful she would be able to say that to us when we met last November.” Please pray for this sweet family, for strength, for full remission of the cancer, and complete healing.

Don Trimble: Is being treated for severe lower back pain after years of dealing with the issue. The treatments (periodic shots) appear to be helping some. Please pray for Don’s full healing as he continues treatments. Pray also for wife Brenda as his caregiver.

George Davis: Father of Tim Davis, currently in rehab recovering from a broken hip. Please pray for a good rehab and full recovery with minimal pain during this process.

Bert & Joyce Blackwell: Bert is at home under Joyce’s care as his health continues to slowly decline. Please pray for comfort for Bert, and strength, comfort, and energy for Joyce. Sign up to take a meal or contribute to their meal fund at mealtrain.com/yrzl3k.

David Wheeler: Results from a recent MRI show that cancer in the right kidney is growing slowly, but there is a new, aggressive type of cancer in his left kidney, which fortunately has not metastasized. Follow up scheduled for June; David is not a candidate for kidney or prostate surgery. Please pray for strength, comfort, and peace for David and wife Carolyn.

Esther and Russ Johnson: Esther recently changed doctors as part of her dealing with Parkinson’s disease. Please pray that the change will lead to much better daily health, strength, and control over any anxiety. Please pray for Russ as her caregiver.

Laura Johnson: We pray for Russ Johnson’s sister and her ongoing battle with bladder cancer (over nine years). The doctors are still working to optimize her medications. Please pray for strength, reduced nausea, and that the treatments will rid her body of cancer.
