Day 3

Mar 7, 2025    Carter Jones

The story of Joseph in Genesis 37–50 illustrates both his humbling and his rise to power, emphasizing God's sovereignty and pointing to Christ. Israel's favoritism towards Joseph causes family conflict, leading to Joseph's betrayal and enslavement. Despite his hardships, God is always with him, and Joseph eventually becomes a powerful leader in Egypt, saving his people from famine.

Joseph's journey parallels that of Jesus, who was humbled, falsely accused, and exalted by God, offering salvation to all. Through Joseph's story, we see God's plan to bring good from evil and fulfill His promises.
