Complete Faith

Jesus never called us to have a faith that is independent of Him. He never called us to have faith apart from Him. The faith that Jesus called us to is one that is completely dependent on Him. Because of who Jesus is, He needs to be our everything, our last and final hope, the only one who can save us from this world and ourselves. In the story of the Gentile woman found in Matthew 15, we see a perfect example of this kind of faith playing out before Jesus and His disciples and we get a glimpse into the faith that Jesus called us to.
