Living the Gospel
Feb 21, 2021 • Jim Beasley • Part 3 of 4
Over the last two weeks, Paul has brought us great lessons on the “Simple Gospel.” The gospel is the good news of God’s grace toward a lost world. He sent His one and only Son to die for the sins of the world, that we might be reconciled to Him and enjoy eternal life. Jesus went to the cross, was buried in a borrowed tomb, and rose on the third day; that’s the gospel according to 1 Corinthians 15:3–5. Our lesson this week will look at obeying the gospel through baptism. We will look at Romans 6:1–14 and discuss the significance of the death, burial, and resurrection in baptism. Join me as we discover “Living the Gospel."
