OPTION 1: INDIVIDUAL
The individual option requires each family to select one or more childcare providers suitable for the needs of their own family. It is the responsibility of the individual family to engage an independent contractor to provide childcare.

The group option requires each group to select one or more childcare providers suitable for the needs of the whole group. It is the responsibility of the Life Group to engage an independent contractor to provide childcare.

For the safety and wellbeing of the children and childcare provider for the families who choose to participate in Option 2, GC suggests a child to childcare provider ratio of about 4:1. However, GC recognizes that each group has varying childcare needs and encourages the group to engage the number of childcare providers it deems appropriate in order to safely and effectively provide care.
Upon request, GC also provides situational childcare reimbursement arrangements for families with children who have special needs.

CANCELLATION POLICY
For the benefit of the Life Group and childcare provider(s), if the Life Group must cancel unexpectedly within twenty-four (24) hours of the event, GC will reimburse the Life Group up to fifty percent (50%) of the childcare providers’ typical rate to compensate them for the inconvenience.
Please note that childcare reimbursement requests will only be accepted for events occurring within the last thirty (30) days, and that all the above is subject to change at the direction of GC leadership.
