Community Partner news and service opportunities for GC members

GC's Care Team Corner connects members with our local community partner organizations, offering a variety of community-focused projects and events. Whether you’re passionate about feeding the hungry, mentoring children, or participating in neighborhood clean-ups, there’s something for everyone to make a meaningful impact.

PARTNER OF THE MONTH

Located in downtown Atlanta, AIM partners with inner-city Atlanta families to raise strong, Christian adults. Their vision is for every kid and teenager in Atlanta to have what they need to thrive.
By the time each kid turns twenty years old, AIM seeks to help them do three things:
  • Graduate high school
  • Have a plan for their future
  • Be involved in a church

They accomplish these goals through:
  • Engagement in regular environments, including a support group for adults and Bible studies for children and teens
  • Meeting the immediate needs of families by helping to provide food, clothing, and seasonal support
  • Providing educational support through after-school care, mentorship opportunities, and college and job preparation

With your help, AIM can end the cycle of poverty in kids and teenagers living in Atlanta.

CURRENT PARTNER NEEDS

Meet the most pressing needs in our community

Send a Kid to AIMCamp 2025
A week at AIMCamp is one of the highlights of the summer for AIM! From fishing to swimming and campfires to water games, each kid gets the opportunity to relax and spend the week just being a kid.

AIM is hoping to take 56 children to AIMCamp this year, and each one needs a sponsor.

For $200, you can give an inner-city child a full week of summer fun, and allow them to be surrounded by Jesus loving adults and mentors.
