Community Partner news and service opportunities for GC members

GC's Care Team Corner connects members with our local community partner organizations, offering a variety of community-focused projects and events. Whether you’re passionate about feeding the hungry, mentoring children, or participating in neighborhood clean-ups, there’s something for everyone to make a meaningful impact.

PARTNER OF THE MONTH

With over 11,000 children in the foster care system in Georgia, Georgia AGAPE works tirelessly to find new and innovative ways to meet the needs of children and families. They offer services in the areas of foster care, adoption, and maternity services across the state of Georgia. With support and God, all things are possible.
In 1968, Max Johnson, Roger MacKenzie, and Stanley Blackman spearheaded the establishment of a Christian social services agency similar to Agape of Nashville, TN. A board of directors was elected and on August 8, 1968, Georgia Association for Guidance, Aid, Placement and Empathy, Inc was incorporated under the laws of the State of Georgia. The agency became known as Georgia Agape, Inc.

Mission
To provide professional social services as a compassionate Christian outreach to children, families, and individuals in order to enhance their prospects for a better and brighter future.

Vision
To be a premier child-placing agency in Georgia known for its integrity, quality and professionalism in meeting the needs of at-risk children, individuals and families.
