PARTNER OF THE MONTH

HOPELinc.org offers consultation, counseling and addiction treatment placement  assistance  to people in a hopeless state of mind as a result of alcoholism/addiction and untreated mental health conditions. HOPELinc.org was created to assist those that are defeated, desperate, eager, and above all, willing to make a long-term change in their life, to recover from a seemingly hopeless state.

At HopeLinc, they understand that things like relapse happen, and offer a place for those trying to right their path to have a second chance.

They are living out their mission as Christians (Matthew 25:35-36) and sharing it with their clients through Christian-based mentoring, counseling, and support. Meet the most pressing needs in our community.

Delivery Drivers Needed
  • Four volunteer drivers needed
  • Serve one month per year (weekly on Mondays)
  • Pick up donated bread from Publix and deliver it to HopeLinc

HopeLinc serves families in need throughout our community, including distributing donated bread from local grocery stores.
 
They currently need four volunteers who can serve each Monday for one month per year by picking up donated bread from the Publix near Grace Chapel and delivering it to HopeLinc for distribution.

This is an urgent need, as several long-time drivers have recently completed their years of service.

Donation Drive
  • Donation drive beginning September 19
  • Collecting household items, clothing, toys, books, and more
  • Donations will support The Good Shepherd's Thrift Shop in Chatsworth, Georgia

Our community partner The Encouragement Project, led by Stephanie Cervantes, has recently opened The Good Shepherd's Thrift Shop in Chatsworth, Georgia. The store will help fund the ministry's work while providing affordable household items and clothing to members of the local community.
To support this effort, Grace Chapel will be collecting donations from September 19 through October 11. A donation box will be located in the lobby.
 
Needed Items
  • Small working appliances (mixers, blenders, toasters, etc.)
  • Kitchen dishes, utensils, pots and pans
  • Glasses and pitchers
  • Clean clothing of any size or season
  • Children's clothing
  • Games, books, and toys
  • Clean, unstained linens
  • Small furniture
  • Pillows
  • Home décor and artwork
  • Jewelry and handbags
  • Sports equipment
  • Bibles
Items do not need to be new, but they should be clean and in good condition.

Volunteer Opportunities:
